iguana hiding in the shadows aruba
Growing up in the North, I thought iguanas were these exotic reptiles. The first time I saw one live in Mexico was fascinating… and then I saw another… and another… and… you get the idea. This handsome specimen preferred the shade of a palm tree by the pool.

Sunset at 35,000 feet on way to Aruba

sunset at thirty five thousand feet on way to aruba
Right place at the right time, particularly if your seat was on the West side of the plane! (Feel bad for the East facing folks!)  We were treated to an ever evolving sunset as we cruised at 35,000 feet on way to Aruba.  Dare you to step out and walk across the clouds 🙂  (My spouse took the picture, while I did the post processing)

Sun setting across sailboat in Sea of Abaco, Bahamas

sun setting across sailboat in the sea of abaco, bahamas
